I just wanted to mark the fact that this board has almost acheived the milestone of 15,000 posts. Thanks to the Walrus(es) for the effort!

I did some quick calculations and see that it took about 9 months to get 5,000 posts, 18 more months to reach 10,000 and about 38 more months to reach 15,000.

Having been a member since 2003 and having posted for a little over...

Well, it looks like the Walrus is dead. Long live the ideals for which it was started, but between the lack of focus, the paucity of true SRF devotees on the site, and the crazy people posting all sorts of irrelevant stuff, it looks like the Walrus has finally succumbed to the natural forces of attrition. Sadly, this also means that SRF's public relations campaign has won. I have yet to find any other voice for telling the truth about SRF--the Walrus was the place to be, and be heard. But no...

Just a short question for those computer-savvy folks. I just got another private message from someone who wants to post but cannot for some reason. He signed up to EZBoard as a global user, answered validation emails, yet he can't post. Obviously the private message system is functioning for him because he sent me the pm telling me about the problem. I suggested maybe the security settings on his browser were to blame.
The Walrus will hit 10,000 messages today! It is amazing to us that there has been such a need for discussion about the SRF experience. 281 brave souls have registered with the Walrus and contributed while thousands of others have read the messages with over 700,000 visits to this message board. We understand that the SRF organization reads and is disturbed by what is here in these pages. They should be disturbed, as we are. We just wish they read and practiced our great Gurus teachings.
