Then I got more than a bit disenchanted with SRF after personally witnessing monastic behavior that really put me off about the organization. I'd had bad experiences with religeous organizations before, though they were Christian churches, and am especially wary when it comes to initiations. Many people in my study group say that they feel stuck after years of practice and haven't felt any progress. If people are doing Kriya the wrong way this may be the reason. If so, was this change done because it was an easier way to teach it or because those in power wanted to conceal the techniques?
